Lithographic Printing

Competitive high-quality printing

For hundreds of year's lithography (also known as litho printing) was the main option for commercial printing. Litho printing combines oily inks (in just four colours - cyan, magenta, yellow and black) with water and manages to replicate all of the colours we can see.

Whilst digital print is quick and great for shorter print-runs and tight deadlines, litho printing can be more cost effective for larger print runs, unusual sizes, matching very specific colours, printing onto a broader range of papers or special finishing - including varnishes.

For one of our clients we print the packaging of one of their leading medications, a leaflet which explains the product and the counter-top leaflet holder on a litho press. We use litho print for this project because the company use a specific Pantone blue for their logo and we can perfectly match the colours in their design across the different types of paper and board each product is printed onto.

Our team at BPS is very experienced and we guarantee that whatever the specification of your print project we will work with you to ensure we use the best process available, whether that's digital print, litho print or sometimes a mix of the two. Give us a call or email and we can start the conversation today.
